Sumo is not only for wrestlers: World Cup iPod Cases

April 6th, 2006 | by Klaus Holzapfel |

Sumo CasesThanks to coolhunting we came a across a neat World Cup idea: iPod cases from Sumo.
They’ve got it all right: They are using the ball (not copyrighted by FIFA) and not the ludicrous World Cup logo. We at conceptbakery think that this is a great idea that could be very interesting for the summer.

Marketers are you listening?
There is quite a bit of space on an iPod case that could be used in a number of ways. Guerilla marketers should definitely incorporate that into their mix for the World Cup. Put a URL on the case and you have a little cross media going already as well…

Heads off to the guys at Sumo: Great product! (and it works on my Zen player as well;-)

Note:
If Sumo can’t make them for you in time, we have a local partner in Germany that we can hook you up with.
