Our team consists of a group of highly trained individuals. Many of them have been working together for over a decade. Underneath are the bios of the two founders.

Klaus Holzapfel,

Klaus HolzapfelKlaus began his professional career prior to the commercialization of the Internet. He worked in the financial industry and was a currency trader for almost 10 years. During that time, he spent 6 years with Deutsche Bank in Luxembourg.


Fast-paced work environments and superior work ethics are the cornerstones of Klaus' professional life.


When the Internet came on the scene, Klaus left the financial industry to explore the opportunities of the digital world. His first venture was to establish his own web design and marketing firm. Eventually he realized that building meaningful websites was merely the first step and that for his clients to be successful, the focus needed to be on non-traditional marketing. Klaus partnered with his brother in Germany and started conceptbakery.


After a few years and many projects, web video marketing the use of social media for businesses moved into his focus. To provide a cost effective solution for high quality videos, conceptbakery built a proprietary video production platform, which combined the strengths of agency work and user-generated content, and weeded out the disadvantages of each.


In addition to his focus on web videos, Klaus is involved in many social media landscaping projects and manages several online communities . Klaus currently lives near Boulder, CO and enjoys the company of many local web entrepreneurs.

 

Felix Holzapfel,

Felix HolzapfelFelix Holzapfel is Managing Partner of conceptbakery Germany. The company specializes in developing alternative marketing strategies for companies in Germany and the USA. Core competences of the agency include Guerilla, Viral, Social Media, Digital and Cross Media Marketing.


Felix began his professional career early, and squeezed economic studies at the University in Cologne into his business schedule. At first, Felix was responsible for web design and online marketing of a medium-sized company. During this time he developed the ideas that lead to the start of his own agency. He won various awards and developed a supply-chain-management module. The company eventually was acquired by a software provider. Felix was responsible for marketing and investor relations with the new company until conceptbakery was founded in 2002.


Felix Holzapfel is author of the book Guerilla Marketing - Online, Mobile & Crossmedia and co-author with Dr. Torsten Schwarz of the book Leitfaden Online Marketing. He tutors in the fields of alternative, digital and cross media marketing at several universities, including Marthin-Luther University in Halle and universities in Jena and Weimar. Felix has also been invited to speak at various marketing conferences.
